A week of reflection and correction needed as instantly the attitude and desire was ten fold more than the last fixture.
An opening goal from Sherlock after a powerful clearance from Matt Hughes gave him a clear run at goal showed the teams desire to chase down every ball and defend for their lives.
Lokomotiv were no easy feat a team with a strong physical stature, who dominated the air and were also creating chances including a moment where they hit the post in the dying moments of the first half.
The second half was another closely contested 45 minutes, with both teams running and pushing for any moment with the ball, Charing got their luck when Joshua Colyer done a darting run through a crowd of 3/4 players coming out the other side and playing the ball to a returning Jack Piper who had been sidelined with a grade 2 ligament injury for 6 weeks to then score a goal much to the pleasure of the team.
Lokomotiv came out swinging and the last ten minutes was all Lokomotiv, chances created and eventually finding the net before shortly scoring a disallowed goal for offside.
This game could have gone either way and we wish Lokomotiv all the best for the season.
